Jon M. Shane specializes in police research, evaluation and technical assistance aimed at controlling crime, improving organizational efficiency, validating business practices, identifying deficiencies, and justifying budgets with an eye toward performance.

My management models are used by various law enforcement agencies including Charlotte County (FL) Sheriff’s Office; Van Buren (AR) Police Department; East Rutherford (NJ) Police Department; and Pinellas County (FL) Sheriff’s Office. My performance management training has been delivered to police departments and sheriffs offices across the United States and Canada including Ohio, Virginia, New York, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Ottawa (Ontario) and Calgary (Alberta).
